Tips for developing your students vocabulary

Vocabulary development is often overlooked. It shouldn't be an extra tacked on to a subject - it IS the subject. In this video, Pat Hipwell talks about why developing your students' vocabulary is so important.

"If students can easily recall what words mean, that means they can put their attention on other elements of what they are learning," she says.
